AS-BUILT DATA MANAGEMENT

As part of our lifecycle data management plan, SeaPlanner will store all as-built data within the project database so that it is easily accessible to all potential data users. This new data can also be mapped, exported and disseminated as required.

Upon receipt of as-built data it often requires re-engineering before it can be incorporated into our databases.

SeaPlanner has experience of many types of data re-engineering, for example conversion to shapefile from alternative formats (such as CAD, Excel or Text), or a conversion between different types of shapefile (for example, point to line or polygon).

Once as-built data has been incorporated within the project geodatabases, it will also be available for update into SeaPlanner's web applications; this ensures that project personnel can be working with the most up to date information as soon as it becomes available.
