PROJECT INSTALLATION

The GIS utilised by SeaPlanner is interoperable with CAD analysis software enabling engineering design and data management to be carried out effectively throughout the project lifecycle. However, this functionality can be particularly useful during the project installation phase. SeaPlanner has experience utilising GIS and CAD software alongside each other to assist clients by designing installation plans, such as vessel positioning around turbines.

The effective planning of the installations ensures that construction occurs as quickly and efficiently as possible, while also ensuring that other project infrastructure such as cables are not damaged during operations.

At this stage of the project, the use of SeaPlanner's web applications also becomes particularly useful, as it allows marine coordinators to identify weather windows to ensure the safety of construction operations.
