SEAPLANNER PERSONNEL

SeaPlanner PersonnelSeaPlanner Personnel is a tool developed for offshore renewables projects to manage personnel working on site; it integrates with SeaPlanner Marine as an effective management tool for offshore works through construction and O&M. SeaPlanner Personnel provides a complete health and safety and security package that is customised to follow the safety procedures, security functions, business processes and training requirements of the project.

SeaPlanner Personnel supports:

  • Manual or automated personnel tracking across vessel and assets on site
  • Emergency contact details and procedures
  • Security pass printing
  • Monitoring of training certification for site personnel 
  • Management of ‘permit to work' procedures for the site

FUNCTIONALITY

There are three primary functions of SeaPlanner Personnel:

  • Personnel Tracking: SeaPlanner Personnel's primary purpose is tracking the movement of personnel offshore. For this purpose, it maintains a database of personnel, vessels and offshore structures where personnel may be located
  • Personnel Transfer: All movements of personnel between vessels, offshore infrastructures and the land are logged within SeaPlanner Personnel, and can be recalled as and when required. This allows for detailed tracking of personnel movement across the course of the project and subsequent auditing of movements
  • Personnel Details: SeaPlanner Personnel allows personal, qualification and safety related information about individuals to be stored in a secure repository. This data is then displayed quickly in a flexible format that allows authorised personnel to use the data to act promptly and appropriately in an emergency situation. SeaPlanner Personnel creates and prints ID cards to control access and authorised activities across the site. Where site access is limited or qualifications have expired (such as medical or training certificates), the system will highlight this when a request for an offshore pass is received
