SEAPLANNER MARINE
SeaPlanner Marine is a marine management tool designed for use by all relevant personnel, including Marine Coordinators, Project Planners, Construction Managers, Engineering Managers and Central Management. It allows users to view site-specific GIS, physical and environmental constraints, Met Ocean data and vessels data in a live web environment to support Marine Operations, HSE and Interface Management.
The SeaPlanner Marine interface displays site-specific data in map layers allowing easy access to chart and survey data to support the coordination of offshore construction and O&M activities. Additionally, SeaPlanner Marine overlays a vessel management view by incorporating live AIS feeds. All of this allows SeaPlanner Marine to:
- Integrate weather, wave and tidal forecasting and live measured met ocean data, which combined with the vessel operating limits, allows for predictions of when it may be unsafe for vessels to continue operating
- Provide a visual interface for personnel management, including manual or automated personnel tracking
- Incorporate components for progress reporting of the construction activities, incident reporting, and emergency alerts
- Provide a visual oversight of vessel activities across the site
- Display policies, procedures, audits and safety notices associated with vessels and wind farm assets
Functionality
SeaPlanner Marine was designed from the bottom up as a specific tool for the construction and operation and maintenance phases of offshore renewable projects. Therefore we aim to provide all of the information required by application users, with the application constantly evolving based upon the changing requirements of users. Current functionality includes:
- The display of site specific GIS layers such as turbines, cables, substations, met masts and buoys
- An overview of project status as the application can be updated with visual indications of infrastructure build status and as-built infrastructure positions
- An accessible repository for safety critical constraints information (for example seabed geology, bathymetry, safety and exclusions zones and MetOcean data feeds)
- Risk assessments and method statements
- Real time automated tracking of all offshore operations including vessels and personnel
- Emergency response plans support tool
- Security access system
- Playback of project data at any time, including asset status, vessel and personnel movements and Metocean data
Benefits
SeaPlanner Marine integrates all project data into a single multifunction tool, allowing for the management and visualisation of data from the site investigation phase, through to project decommissioning. This brings with it numerous benefits, including:
- One place for all required data
- Common standards for data
- Effective reporting
- Ease of data dissemination to project personnel, contractors, project partners, statutory bodies and project stakeholders
- Easy access to live and historic data
